Chris Caputo- Drums

Chris studied drum set with CMA teacher Russ Myers for 10 years, while attending the Fort Hayes Vocational Career Music Center Directed by Jeff McCargish. He has performed with many local musicians in a variety of live situations. Some of these well known players are: pianist Wade Jones, multi-talented instrumentalist Derrick DiCenzo, bassist Andy Woodson, saxophonist Pete Mills, pianist Eric Augis and pianist Ed Moeb. Some of the musical venues Chris has performed in are: Comfest, Clintonville Arts Festival, Jazz and Ribs Festival, Short North Gallery Hop, Goodale Park Arts Festival and a running engagement in 2007 at the Hyatt on Capitol Square. Additional performances are: the Columbus Art Museum, numerous private parties, award ceremonies, business meetings and corporate events. He has played in the rock band "Barbara Byrd" at Bernie's Distillery, The House of Crave, the Bison Space and numerous private events. Chris has been a teacher at Columbus Music Academy for 2 1/2 years.
