Jerry White - Piano and Organ

Jerry's background includes over ten years of private study and 35 years as a private instructor. He is a freelance musician in the Columbus area and has performed in local clubs and at private parties for the last 32 years. In addition, he performs as a soloist on piano and organ and in various pop and jazz ensembles. Jerry teaches piano, organ and keyboard from beginning through advanced levels. Jerry has extensive experience teaching students of all ages and has created a specific curriculum that is tailored to the needs of each of his students with the focus always on the fundamentals of reading, counting, technique and musicianship. He creates a unique atmosphere in each lesson by being more of a caring teacher than a "task master." Studying with Jerry White creates the basis for his students to play whatever style of music they choose.
