Directed by Wes Miller, New Horizons Music is new to CMA. A set of music classes and performance ensembles for the adult beginner, CMA is the only Columbus franchise for this nationally known and wildly successful music program for adults of all ages who want to learn a musical instrument and have a good time doing so.

Classes meet once a week and are offered in the morning and evening. Each class is divided into 2 sections. The focus in the first session is on learning music theory, reading, rhythm, and sight-reading; we take a short 15 minute break then during the second session we play musical instruments and apply in rehearsal what was discussd in the first session.

This program has value which extends beyond music: social, friends, team effort, active/fun people and stimulates the human brain. No prior musical experience necessary!! A desire to learn to play an instrument is the only requirement for this group.

New Horizons Music Classes for adults will start Wednesday, August 13th. From 7-8 PM
