What is "Pitch-Perfect?"
"Pitch-Perfect" is a set-up process that CMA technicians use to guarantee that
all instruments are playing at their highest potential. Every instrument that
CMA provides for rentals or sales has been through this process to assure that
the instrument is of the highest quality. All parts of the instrument are inspected,
including key corks, tenon corks, pivot screws, pads, valves, slides, waterkeys
and solder joints. The entire key mechanism is analyzed; every slide tube tested
for proper seals, even the finish of the instrument is scrutinized. Every instrument
is examined through the same process, from student-line trumpets to professional
flutes. After our thorough "Pitch-Perfect" inspection, all of the instruments
are assessed with an extensive play-test. "Pitch-Perfect" makes certain that
the instrument leaving our store is not only playing at its best, but is also
going to provide the customer with years of musical enjoyment and reliable playing
service.
