The string ensembles at CMA and are composed of violin, viola, cello, bass and guitar players. Directed by Jane Watson and Russell Myers, these groups are designed for middle school students through adults to have the opportunity to perform with other musicians in a chamber or ensemble setting. Each group is composed of students with like ability. In order to be eligible, a student must express a desire to perform publicly and be studying privately in the studio.

Learning the skills of playing with other musicians as well as establishing life long friendships and enjoying the gift of music is the goal for these groups. All groups perform at various venues throughout the year.
